Our friends threw a baby shower for us this past weekend and it was beautiful. It was really touching to see all the people who came out for us.

thao and i took a trip to sarasota this past weekend. we found a dog friendly airbnb in bradenton, about 15 minutes north of siesta key beach.      The De Soto National Memorial Siesta Key Beach doesn’t allow dogs so we went to the de soto national memorial park thinking we might find some shoreline there. It was beautiful but not beachy; it’s mostly mangroves along some 3,000 feet of coastline. Thao had a week of vacation and we decided to take a road trip up to the smokey mountains and check out the fall foliage. The leaves don’t really seem to change color here in Florida. Given the pandemic and wanting to take Kalbi along with us we opted to drive. It was Kalbi’s first long trip in a car and we were a little worried about how he’d do, but he didn’t give us any trouble.
